This place was great! It's not like a phenomenal five star restaurant, but it was perfect for what it is and what I wanted. The employees were all friendly and the food options were all great and fresh. I opted for fruit, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, broccoli cheddar soup (my favorite!), and popcorn shrimp. I also got some ice cream with a little bit of a brownie. Everything was yummy and I was very satisfied with the options there and the price. It was about $10 per person. We had to pay in cash today because their system was down, but it was fine. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. It's a home style buffet of comfort food, not a fancy gourmet restaurant. Food was good and the people were nice. I would definitely go back.

Okay, don't laugh at my four star rating for Hometown Buffet. I'm serious, their breakfast buffet deserves a high rating. The pictures I posted definitely tell a story but let me also write down the reasons why I like it. First of all, it's so darn cheap! Regular price is $7.99 but I used a coupon in the mail which cost me only $5.99. What did I get for that amount? A LOT!!! There's the Omelette section where they cook before your eyes scrambled egg with anything you want. They also have a soup and salad bar. I usually see two different kinds of soups but I always go for the menudo. In the salad bar, there's coleslaw, potato salad, and other premixed ones but you can also make a salad of your own from scratch. As expected in any American breakfast, they have bacon, ham, sausages, toast, waffles, harsh browns, etc. Craving for tacos and nachos? No problem. Please help yourself in the taco bar. Finish off your meal with desserts and feast on a variety of cookies, croissants, cupcakes, puddings and a sundae. Customer service is non-existent which is expected of a buffet restaurant. Besides, I don't really want to be bothered when I'm trying to finish my 10 plates of food.

This restaurant is just like any other Hometown Buffets that I've been to. Same layout, large restaurant and parking area. It's very busy during Sunday at their Breakfast & Brunch time. I've been here several times, the food is hot and mostly fresh. The staff keeps it clean, organized, and replace/refill the food as needed. Some of the food is bland but I can't complain too much since the prices are decent, I just added salt & pepper. But the drinks are EXTRA, which should be added as part of the meal price. And if you want to TAKE OUT a DRINK, they charge for it, which is reasonable. But then they should add the drink to the meal price. They have a hot buffets, salad bar, dessert bar with ice cream, and drink bar with ICEE, sodas, coffees, tea, and milk. The restaurant is clean and organized, I have to check the dishes because sometimes I get the ones that are still dirty, even though they've been washed (spots or goopy things on them). The bathroom is small but it's clean. The staff has always been friendly, I think this has been the nicest staff at a Hometown Buffet that I've been too. I'll return. Decent food at a fair price. #JesseWatrous #HometownBuffet #HometownBuffetReview
